Koren Hanson, Ph.D.

Research Scientist

Koren has extensive experience in data management, project coordination, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative studies. She has experience in academic research of longitudinal and cross-sectional data with a focus on the testing and evaluation of interventions, youth substance use and violence prevention, and school/community-based risk factors for youth and adults. She has been involved with research studies at multiple academic institutions and worked with a variety of federal agencies including the Center for Disease Control, National Institute on Drug Abuse, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services as well as government and educational agencies in Washington, Arizona, California, and Florida. She has a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
